In 2020 he released feature documentary, AKA JANE ROE, on FX/Hulu/Disney+. The film tells the story of Norma McCorvey, the real life “Jane Roe”, whose 1973 case, Roe v. Wade, legalized abortion in the United States. Nick filmed with McCorvey in the final year of her life.
Prior to that, his 2015 Channel 4 series on transgender kids was watched by over 4 million viewers in Britain.
He is Pakistani-Australian and lives in New York with his partner, journalist James West.
